“Rainy Day Iris” - Layered tulle, appliqued and quilted, hand stitched ‘raindrops’ using metallic threads. From a photo of my favorite flower. When I was a child I’d spend a lot of time in my mother’s garden enjoying the flowers and sniffing the freshness in the early morning.
